The summer heat has arrived, so starting Tuesday, July 6 we will unload 8 giant ice blocks into the water of the Play Lagoon area in Paws On at 1 p.m. Please note that the ice melts fast and we are limited with the number of kids that can be in the Play Lagoon at one time, so plan accordingly. We will host Arctic Blast Tuesdays for five weeks, every Tuesday through August 3, always at 1 p.m. Make sure to stop by and visit us at the Zoo!

Plan a trip this summer to the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach. The Center just opened a new touch tank featuring critters found in the Indian River Lagoon. Just like our touch tank in Paws On here at the Zoo, the whole family can get up close and personal with Lagoon animals.

Once again this summer, the Zoo will offer free admission into the Zoo every Saturday night in July and August. Come beat the summertime heat during our annual Summer Saturday Nights, which starts July 3 and runs every Saturday night through August 28. Free admission begins at 5 p.m.
