Zoo Teen Program

Water Conservation

The availability of clean water is one of the central issues of our time, and we all need to do our part to use this resource wisely. Saving water is simple!

Avoid bottled water and instead use a reusable water bottle. It takes millions of gallons of water to produce the plastic for single-use water bottles, and millions more to purify the water that goes into them.

Volunteer Programs

Brevard Zoo welcomes you to take part in its Zoo Volunteer Program. As a community Zoo, we encourage public involvement designed to aid the Zoo in all aspects of operation. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent upon and very grateful to our volunteers, who help with everything from special events to educational programs.

Volunteer Adventure Path Orientation dates will be held on the following Saturdays in 2012: February 25, June 2, September 8, and December 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These Information Sessions are held in the Zoo Education Building. If attendance is not possible, please send an email to voladmin@brevardzoo.org or call Jean Galvin, Director of Volunteer Programs at 321.254.9453 x 218. Please check this page prior to attending for updated information. Your application will be held for 4 months. Please do not reapply during that period.

GROUP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Brevard Zoo welcomes the opportunity to work with local businesses to plan an employee volunteer day. Whether it's landscaping, light maintenance, or cleaning storage units the volunteer experience is always more fun when it's done at the Zoo.
