Brevard Zoo welcomes you to take part in its Volunteer Programs. As a community zoo, we encourage public involvement designed to aid the zoo in all aspects of operation. Since the zoo is a non-profit organization, we are dependent upon and very grateful to our volunteers, who help with everything from special events to educational programs. We know that working directly with animals is not everyone's goal, so we have tailored programs that we feel will offer something for everyone.
Employee Volunteer Opportunities
The Brevard Zoo welcomes the opportunity to work with local businesses to plan an employee volunteer day. Whether it's landscaping, light maintenance, or cleaning storage units the volunteer experience is always more fun when it's done at the Zoo. Volunteer Safari (Volunteer Informational Sessions)
Volunteer Safari is held the third Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Education Building at the Zoo. This information session is the first step to joining the volunteer program and each session lasts about two hours. Please submit your online application prior to attendance.
