Scout Programs

Include Brevard Zoo in your next scouting experience! Learn about the Zoo and our animal collection in one of our fun-filled scout programs, overnights, night hikes, or during Scout Day. Annual Scout Day
Each year Brevard Zoo hosts a scout day. Scouts enjoy special animal interactions and activities as part of the safari. Come as a troop or with the family…and be sure to wear your uniform! The event is usually from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with last admission at 1 p.m. Check back this winter to learn more about the 2010 Scout Day!


Day at the Zoo
Bring the Troop or Pack for an outing at the Zoo! Attend a program, then walk the Zoo. The cost is $8 per person and one adult free per 10 scouts. Brevard Zoo patch is for registered Troop or Pack scouts only. Purchase Brevard Zoo patches for $1 each. Minimum of 15 paying participants. Available Saturdays and Sundays.

Overnight
Spend the night on a private scout overnight. All overnights include craft, game, hands-on-animal presentation, Zoo safari, pizza, nighttime snack, and a continental breakfast. The craft and presentation can be catered to meet the needs for one of the badges listed above.


Night Hike

Night hikes are offered Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for children ages 5 to 12. Cost includes pizza, drinks, hands-on animal presentation,  guided Zoo safari tour, game, craft, and lots of fun! Cost is $24 per person for Zoo members and $25 per person for non-members. A non-refundable deposit is required. A minimum of 10 participants is needed to reserve a group night hike.
