Junk Mail

Did you know that each year millions of trees and billions of gallons of water are used to create junk mail, most of which never gets recycled? There are several things you can do to reduce how much junk mail you receive.

When you receive unwanted mail, take a minute to call the company (usually toll-free) to remove your address from its list.

Jr. Zookeeper Program

Jr. Zookeepers learning from Zoo staff The Jr. Zookeeper program is recommended for youth ages 10 to 12 who are interested in animals and the environment. Activities are offered two times each month. Each activity will focus on a different topic and lasts about 90 minutes. Participants will receive a pin at the end to add to their Jr. Keeper badge. Jr. Keepers are supervised by Zoo education staff during these events. Collect as many pins as you can! Activities may include:

Enrichment Workshops (making toys/treats for the animals)
Assisting with conservation projects
Special animal talks
Treasure hunts in the Zoo
Behind the scenes tours
Crafts and Games
Much more!

Jr. Zookeeper programs are non-refundable and non-transferable.
