Activities are offered on the second Saturday of every month. This month we've scheduled:

November 14--11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Leaping Lizards!
Learn how keepers care for three different types of lizards. Design a lizard exhibit, touch a lizard, and earn your lizard pin!

As a Jr. Keeper, each activity will focus on a different topic and lasts about 90 minutes. Participants will receive a pin at the end to add to their badge. Jr. Keepers are supervised by Zoo education staff during these events. Collect as many pins as you can! Activities may include: 

--Enrichment Workshops (making toys/treats for the animals)
--Assisting with conservation projects
--Special animal talks
--Treasure hunts in the Zoo
--Behind the scenes tours
--Crafts and Games
--Much more! 

How do I get started?
Initial enrollment into the Jr. Keeper program is $5 and includes a badge. Enrollment can be done through the education department. Jr. Keepers are invited to attend any event of their choice. Cost for each event is $5 and does not include Zoo admission. To enroll and sign up for events, please contact the registrar office at edregistrar@brevardzoo.org or call 321.254.9453 x 219. Reservations are non-refundable. Walk-ins are welcome, however space is limited. 

Events are held in the Education building. Parent signature is required to attend.
