Oyster Restoration![]() The Brevard Zoo would like to thank the amazing ?Zoo Crew? of volunteers for a great day of Oyster Restoration on Tuesday, June 21! An insane amount of work was completed and we still had smiles and laughs all day! We have named the reef ?Rafiki Reef? (after that giraffe we all can?t help but love) and although it is still not completed, it already has about 1,096 mats in place! That is amazing and will soon be a home to so many oysters?thanks to you! To learn more about the Zoo?s Oyster Restoration program or to volunteer, please email jpalmer@brevardzoo.org.
